In this paper, according to the agronomic requirements of sweet potato transplanter, using the motion law of connecting rod cam combination mechanism, the movement track of clamping finger is simulated, and then the contour curve of cylindrical cam mechanism is designed. The three-dimensional model of cylindrical cam mechanism with sinusoidal acceleration motion law and quintic polynomial motion law is established in Creo software, and kinematics simulation is carried out. The simulation results are analyzed by ADAMS software. The analysis shows that the maximum acceleration at the center of mass of cam roller is reduced by 0.352 meters per square second, the maximum contact force is reduced by 32.7783N, and the vibration and impact of the equipment are also relatively reduced, which provides a theoretical basis for the mechanization of sweet potato transplanting.
